Skitter will co-present a session at next month’s National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas with our partner Zeugma Systems.  The session, titled “Is Linear Video the Next AOL?” is a part of the NAB’s “Broader-casting” conference.

The session will look at changing business models for both the entertainment content provider and the telecom service provider. We’ll review recent consumer research into online video viewing habits.  We’ll discuss how to control quality of service with streaming delivery outside the traditional video “walled garden.” And we’ll explore how technologies like Skitter.TV and the Zeugma Services Node make it increasingly possible to deliver high-quality streaming video over broadband networks, resulting in a viewing experience that exceeds consumer expectations.

Plan to join Zeugma Systems Director of Product Management Trevor Dyck and Skitter.TV Vice President of Marketing Laura Tanner (yours truly) for the session on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 1 p.m. in Room N238. The Broader-casting Conference is being produced for the NAB by Team Lightbulb.
